If you’re like most people, you’ve never heard of Thimbleberries. You won’t find them in a store, and they probably don’t grow where you live. Thimbleberries are similar to raspberries, but onlyΒ  grow in the Keweenaw peninsula of the upper … Continue reading →

Staying indoors and thinking spring-like thoughts while I sip coffee out of my @mudlove plant mug! Also....officially celebrating 20 weeks of pregnancy on the blog today. Link in profile for an update and a little Q&A.
It's April 17, and this is my front yard. To say I'm not thrilled would be the understatement of the century. BUT. Life is still good. We were snowed in this weekend, and accomplished some projects+enjoyed family time. We went out to breakfast on Monday morning (yay snow day for @bobs_the_word!), and the hostess came to tell us that someone had picked up our bill. And I just learned this morning that we overpaid on Julia's delivery (2 years ago!), and will be getting a refund check in the mail. I would so much rather be enjoying typical spring weather, but this extended winter has been good to us, too πŸ™Œ
Being homebound thanks to the millionth winter storm this year (#melodramatic) calls for pajamas all day and baking snickerdoodles with my best baking buddy. Her cinnamon sugar technique leaves the cookies a little heavily sugared on one side and entiely lacking on the other, but she's enthusiastic, so she may stay πŸ˜‰
How did you/do you save memories from your kiddos? So many sweet moments and so many adorable pictures make it simultaneously easier and much harder! Shared my love for all things @promptlyjournals and @snapfishus on the blog today. Link in profile to check out our affordable and low - fuss baby book!
In case you missed it, I'm so excited to share that we're expecting not one but TWO babies in August! Talk about the shock of our lifetime. We're more than a bit terrified, but so grateful that both babies are growing and developing on track. Can't wait to meet them! Plus, I can't wait to unpack all of these sweet newborn clothes. So tiny!
55 degrees, new-to-you pink rainboots, and puddles perfect for jumping: dare we hope spring might be here sooner rather than later?

Thanks to super high winds around the straits, we had to wait a long time to cross the bridge. Grateful for a fun weekend with friends and a safe (slow slow slow) bridge crossing. On the home stretch! #pottersgoexploring
Had a blast adventuring with some of my favorite people this afternoon! #pottersgoexploring
