An Easy Way to Save on Groceries

When my town got an Aldi a few years ago, I nearly died of happiness. I save tons on our grocery and household goods–probably 30% each month–by shopping at Aldi rather than at the other stores in town! And I don’t have to clip coupons or meal plan around what’s on sale that week. Their prices are just that low.

Since I do most of our shopping there each week, I didn’t consider that I could save even MORE money. But I can! Enter Fetch Rewards. It works much like ebates or Ibotta (if you’ve heard of those) only you don’t have to buy certain products, shop at certain stores, or clip coupons. You get rewards simply for taking pictures of your receipts after you shop. I recently submitted 2 weeks of receipts and had enough points for a $5 amazon gift card–all for doing the shopping I would normally do!

Here’s how it works.

  1. Head to wherever you download your apps and search for Fetch Rewards.
  2. Create an account. Enter the referral code K7YCQ and you’ll get 2,000 points just for scanning one receipt.
  3. Start scanning any receipts you have handy! They accept receipts from all major grocery stores.

To scan in a receipt, click the “scan” button at the bottom of your phone screen and simply take a picture of it. It took me less than 10 minutes to enter my 2 weeks of receipts. If you buy any of the products that are special offers, you could get even more points!

Give it a shot! You have nothing to lose! If you decide to sign up, make sure to use the referral code K7YCQ to get a bonus 2,000 points when you scan your first receipt.

Happy shopping!

P.S. Do you do most of your shopping online? Then you NEED ebates! Check out this how to and get a $10 rebate just for signing up.
