A couple of months ago, I turned 26. We celebrated by cramming 30 people into our little house (thanks for killing the backyard barbeque, rain!). I wouldn’t have traded it.
The real reason was the glorious cake I made. It was time consuming. But worth it. I saw it on Brown Eyed Baker in February, and knew it was My Birthday Cake.
Instead of following her recipe for the cake, I made three layers of black bean chocolate cake.
