As you many know from my monthly goal-oriented posts, I’m a big fan of setting goals and making lists. Anyone else Type A? Or am I alone here? In defense of my list-making, goal-setting ways, there is significant evidence to support the fact that writing your goals down gives you more impetus to make them happen.
If you don’t have a bucket list, here’s your challenge for the day: sit down and make one. If dreaming big doesn’t come easily for you, set a timer for 10 minutes and write down as many things that pop into your mind. They don’t have to make sense. Write them down now, and evaluate them later. See what you come up with!
Here are some of the things on my bucket list:
1. See all of the national parks in the US of A. I’ve seen a few of them, but the vast majority are still on the Yet to be Seen List.
2. I’d love to work for a summer at one of the national parks out west.
3. I want to learn Dutch and travel Europe with nothing but a backpack and a Eurail pass.
