So far, I have:
- Gone to the farmer’s market (bought eggs, turnips, green peppers, tomatoes, and a half bushel of apples)
- Made Saturday morning pancakes 🙂
- Run 3 miles
- Raked the yard
- Watched Robin Hood (with Russel Crowe. It was good!)
- And made dinner
I had a hankering (yes, a hankering) for spaghetti tonight, but knew that I should eat some more veggies. Today hasn’t been too heavy on nutrition.
So, I wilted some spinach to mix into my spaghetti, and flavored up the sauce with some onion! The easiest way to wilt spinach is to dump it into the colander you’re going to use to drain your pasta. Like so.
Alright, now add your sauce (mine was a generic marinara sauce, ground turkey, minced garlic, onion, and oregano).
