Seventy Six Trombones…

I went to see The Music Man last night. I forgot how much I liked that show! I’m 3 for 3 with Wagon Wheel shows this summer, and so far, this one was my favorite. Nothing like a cheesy love story/musical to make an evening 🙂

To follow my “living for today” theme, I gleaned this from the show. Professor Harry Hill says to Marian the Librarian: “You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to make today worth remembering.”

True story! I intend to make today worth remembering. LONG day at work, but then we’re having people over after the concert. HOUSE PARTY! I intend to make pirogies (note to self: buy butter and onions and minced garlic over lunch break today and leave pirogies out to thaw). I’m hoping that they’re not too freezer burnt or old or something. I’ll have to test them out prior unto feeding them to real people.

Expect pictures and fun stories tomorrow!
