Intermezzo-ing

Yesterday was our annual fundraising/thank you donor banquet. It was crazy, guys. By the time 10 pm rolled around and we had the room put back to rights, I was ready to crash.

I think the lovely people that I work with could tell that we were stressed and tired all day yesterday. This was delivered for breakfast:

BLUEBERRY SCONES FROM THE BAKERY!

This was my after lunch snack from the boss-man:

AN ICED LATTE FROM THE BAKERY!

And then one of the lovely MasterWorks students brought us chocolate. Here’s my bar:

DARK, ORGANIC CHOCOLATE!

Do the CAPS convey my excitement regarding all of my presents? Thanks to all of the lovely people who brought them to me!

Once the banquet got started, and the show was no longer mine to be involved in, I could relax. It didn’t look exactly like our vision. And it didn’t come off exactly the way that we thought it was going to. But you know what? That’s ok! The night was still a success. I had a great time eating some fancy food and enjoying a great program. The carrot cake was super tasty 🙂

Check out the cute little carrot on top. Awww…..

Have a happy evening, all!
