I’ve been working like a dog. All sorts of crazy hours! But, the good news is that almost everyone is here, so things should calm down shortly. I haven’t taken any pictures because I’ve been too busy doing things to take photos of all the craziness.
In the last couple of days, I have:
- handed out more than 100 registration packets and written down about as many credit card numbers and their corresponding information.
- made 3 trips to South Bend (on top of the 2 last week) to pick up faculty/students
- met approx. 250 new people. Forgotten almost as many names.
- not slept enough.
Oy. Pictures forthcoming. Promise.
Alright, I’ve been trying to figure out “what’s next” post-half marathon. I think what’s next is going to be an Olympic Triathlon. I only say “think” because of the craziness of summer and the fact that I’m not sure I’ll have enough training time. Except for the swim, I don’t think that I’ll have much building to do. BUT, I’m going to want to get in at least a couple of quality brick workouts before the tri on August 22. And all that takes time.
On the other hand, a triathlon is definitely on my bucket list.
Do any of you lovely readers have any tri experience and, as such, words of wisdom for me?
